about the watercooler newsletter
The Watercooler Newsletter was started in the summer of 2006 to make connections. From people to ideas, colleagues, and innovative thinking, it's designed to help you with the challenges and issues you face in your job every day. This isn't an academic think piece — it's a practical sharing of techniques that work when it comes to strategically engaging people to create business results.
Strategic engagement of people and the creation of better business results require authenticity, truth-telling, and relevance. We have found that the truth is spoken in most organizations in three places — at the watercooler, in the bathrooms, and in the hallways. These are places where people feel free to say what they really think, where they can share their views and speak the truth. It's where we begin to take our performance to the next level.

The Watercooler is published six times a year: January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, and November/December.
